British Society for Heart Failure Specialist Nurse Competency Framework

Endorsed by the Scottish Heart Failure Nurse Forum, the competency framework has been designed to support the learning & professional development of heart failure specialist nurses. They can also be used to support an introduction to heart failure for nurses and professionals who work in other specialties.

Transforming Nursing Roles – 

Review of Clinical Nurse Specialist & Nurse Practitioner Roles in Scotland

The report of the Short Life Working Group (SLWG) set up by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to review the role of the Clinical Nurse Specialist as part of the Transforming Roles Programme, and improve national consistency in Scotland for Clinical Nurse Specialist and Specialist Practitioner roles.
