HEARTe is an innovative new free heart disease educational resource for health and social care professionals. The unique and engagang interactive activities have been developed to support education that has direct application to practice.
There are 7 core level modules which cover the following aspects of cardiac disease:
Healthy heart & investigations
Primary prevention of heart disease
Stable coronary artery disease
Acute coronary syndromes
Heart Failure
Palliative care in heart disease
The target audience is health and social care trained staff who are not working in specialist roles. This level of knowledge and skills will support delivery of evidence-based patient-centred care and information to patients and careres presenting and living with a range of cardiac conditions.
