Building on the success of the Stroke Training and Awareness Resources (STARS) CHSS and a number of partners have developed the Heart Education Awareness Resource & Training through E-learning. The project has been funded through the National Advisory Committee for heart disease and is led by CHSS.
This is a free heart disease educational online resource that all health professionals across Scotland and nationally and internationally can access. This resource will enhance knowledge and clinical practice in the delivery of heart disease management.
Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland (CHSS) worked with key stakeholders and partners to develop an underpinning educational framework which aligns to cardiac specialist areas identified as priorities by the National Advisory Committee for Heart Disease (NACHD) and to meet related actions as outlined by the Better Heart Disease and Stroke Care Action Plan (2009).
